Stray Kids, ENHYPEN, LE SSERAFIM, SEVENTEEN, TXT, BTS' Suga And Jimin, TWICE, And (G)I-DLE Sweep Top Spots On Billboard's World Albums Chart
Billboard has published its World Albums chart for the week ending on June 17!
Stray Kids’ new album “★★★★★ (5-STAR)” debuted at No. 1 on the World Albums chart this week, in addition to becoming the group’s third album in a row to enter the Billboard 200 at No. 1. The group’s previous mini album “MAXIDENT” also spent its 32nd non-consecutive week on the World Albums chart at No. 11.
ENHYPEN’s new mini album “DARK BLOOD” re-entered the World Albums chart at No. 2 following its delayed physical release in the United States, marking its second non-consecutive week on the chart. “DARK BLOOD” also became ENHYPEN’s first album to reach the top 5 of the Billboard 200, where it debuted at No. 4.
Meanwhile, LE SSERAFIM’s first full-length album “UNFORGIVEN” stayed strong at No. 4 in its sixth consecutive week on the World Albums chart. The album also spent a fifth week on the Billboard 200—making LE SSERAFIM the fastest K-pop girl group (and only the third overall) to chart an album for five weeks.
SEVENTEEN’s latest mini album “FML” ranked No. 5 in its seventh consecutive week on the World Albums chart, in addition to spending a sixth week on the Billboard 200.
TXT’s “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” took No. 6 in its 19th consecutive week on the World Albums chart, extending its own record as the longest-charting album of 2023. The mini album also charted for a 19th straight week on the Billboard 200, making TXT only the second male K-pop artist in history to chart an album for 19 weeks.
BTS’ Suga’s first official solo album “D-DAY” claimed No. 7 in its seventh consecutive week on the World Albums chart, while his bandmate Jimin’s solo debut album “FACE” held onto its spot at No. 8 in its 11th consecutive week. Including Suga’s and Jimin’s solo albums, BTS landed a total of five albums in the top 15 this week: “Proof” came in at No. 12, “Map of the Soul: 7” at No. 13, and “Love Yourself: Answer” at No. 15.
Finally, TWICE’s latest mini album “READY TO BE” ranked No. 9 in its 13th consecutive week on the chart, while (G)I-DLE’s “I feel” took No. 10 in its third week.
Congratulations to all of the artists!
