“The Villain of Romance” has shared new stills of an awkward moment between Cha Sun Woo, Ha Seung Ri, and Kang Sang Jun!

MBC’s “The Villain of Romance” is a coming-of-age story and realistic romance drama about young college “villains” who are still learning about love. Cha Sun Woo stars as Kang Hee Jae, who insists that he is a cool and understanding guy, but isn’t actually cool in the slightest when it comes to romance and his feelings. “All of Us Are Dead” star Ha Seung Ri plays Ban Yu Jin, a highly intelligent older student at Kang Hee Jae’s college who can never seem to keep a relationship going for longer than 100 days. When Hee Jae boldly shoots his shot, she decides to put him through some intense “training” as they date.

Ahead of its seventh episode, “The Villain of Romance” released a sneak peek of Hee Jae meeting Yu Jin’s ex-boyfriend Oh Jin Wook (played by Kang Sang Jun).

The first still captures an awkward encounter between Hee Jae, Yu Jin, and Jin Wook in a cafeteria. Hee Jae is seen chatting with Jin Wook, piquing viewers’ curiosity about how they became close. On the other hand, a seemingly nervous Yu Jin has her face turned away from Jin Wook.

The next still captures the unusual atmosphere between Hee Jae, Yu Jin, and Jin Wook as they work on a group project together. Yu Jin and Hee Jae are staring at their laptops with serious expressions on their faces, while Jin Wook, who seems to be leading the group project, has a more relaxed posture. What kinds of “villainous” things might have happened between the three since meeting in the cafeteria?

In another photo, Hee Jae looks conflicted after yelling at Yu Jin out of anger and sadness. He wears a mixture of complex emotions on his face, heightening viewers’ curiosity about what might have led to him blowing up at Yu Jin.

According to the production team of “The Villain of Romance,” the upcoming episode will feature a crisis of epic proportions that will heighten the tension in the drama. Even though Hee Jae and Yu Jin have been through many crises and have grown closer to each other. Hee Jae will wind up yelling at Yu Jin in this episode.

The next episode of “The Villain of Romance” airs on June 20 at 11:30 p.m. KST.
