IU's "LILAC" Becomes Her 8th MV To Hit 100 Million Views
IU has just hit the 100 million mark with another beloved music video!
On June 20 at approximately 10:01 p.m. KST, IU’s music video for her 2021 hit “LILAC” surpassed 100 million views on YouTube, making it her eighth music video to do so after “Palette,” “BBIBBI,” “Not Spring, Love, or Cherry Blossoms,” “eight,” “Blueming,” “Celebrity,” and “Through the Night.”
With this achievement, IU has now become the first female Korean soloist to have eight different music videos reach the milestone on YouTube.
IU originally released the music video for “LILAC” on March 25, 2021 at 6 p.m. KST, meaning that it took just over 2 years, 2 months, and 26 days to reach the milestone.
