"The Glory" Star Kim Gun Woo Joins Kim Go Eun And Park Ji Hyun In Talks For New Drama By “Do You Like Brahms?” Director
Kim Gun Woo may be joining Kim Go Eun and Park Ji Hyun in an upcoming drama!
On June 21, Kim Gun Woo’s agency Blossom Entertainment shared with OSEN, “Kim Gun Woo has received an offer from the production team of the new drama ‘Eun Joong And Sang Yeon’ [literal title]. He is currently positively reviewing the offer.”
Helmed by “Do You Like Brahms?” director, “Eun Joong And Sang Yeon” will tell the story of a drama writer named Ryu Eun Joong and a filmmaker named Cheon Sang Yeon. After an incident ends their childhood friendship, Eun Joong and Sang Yeon reunite years later as adults.
Currently, Kim Go Eun is in talks to star as Ryu Eun Joong while Park Ji Hyun is in talks to play Cheon Sang Yeon.
Kim Gun Woo is said to have received an offer to play Kim Sang Hak, someone who loves cameras more than anything and is loved by everyone for his honest and kind personality. During his college days, Kim Sang Hak dated Eun Joong and treated their relationship earnestly. Later after becoming a successful film director with outstanding skills, Kim Sang Hak reunited again with his ex Eun Joong.
If confirmed, “Eun Joong And Sang Yeon” will be Kim Gun Woo’s next work after starring in the hit Netflix series “The Glory” earlier this year.
