SM Entertainment has announced a new measure to protect the rights of their agency artists.
On June 21, SM Entertainment launched their new website “KWANGYA 119,” which fans can use to report issues related to SM artists with regards to defamation, copyright infringement, and more. This website is part of the agency’s SM 3.0 growth strategy that aims to better protect their artists.

Hello,
This is SM Entertainment. The ‘KWANGYA 119’ website, a reporting center for protecting the rights and interests of SM artists, is now live.
You can access ‘KWANGYA 119′ after logging in with your SMTOWN ID and file a report on ‘ARTIST Defamation Report,’ ‘Illegal Ticket/Copyright Infringement Report’ and ‘Correction Report & Suggestion’ pages.
As for the ‘Illegal Ticket Sales Report’ page, we are in discussion with show organizers and ticketing sites and plan to open the page as soon as all details are settled. We will send out a separate notice once confirmed.
Please show lots of interest in the newly launched ‘KWANGYA 119’ service.
Thank you.
The “Correction Report & Suggestion” pages are to be used for fans to report any potential errors in SM artists’ album merchandise, images, or videos. Fans will also be able to leave ideas, suggestions, and wishes for artists and SM Entertainment.
Using these reports, SM Entertainment plans to look over the data and confirm any illegal activity before officially filing complaints. To do so, the agency signed a business agreement with law firm Shin & Kim back in March.
