Cha Sun Woo Has A Hard Time Getting Over A Break Up In "The Villain of Romance"
“The Villain of Romance” has unveiled new stills of Cha Sun Woo, Choi Yeon, and Shin Ji Won!
MBC’s “The Villain of Romance” is a coming-of-age story and realistic romance drama about young college “villains” who are still learning about love.
Cha Sun Woo stars as Kang Hee Jae, who insists that he is a cool and understanding guy but isn’t actually cool in the slightest when it comes to romance and his feelings, while “All of Us Are Dead” star Ha Seung Ri plays Ban Yu Jin, a highly intelligent older student at Kang Hee Jae’s college. Because the frosty Yu Jin can never seem to keep a relationship going for longer than 100 days, she starts to worry that she’ll wind alone. So when Hee Jae boldly shoots his shot, she decides to put him through some intense “training” as they date.
Spoilers
Previously on “The Villain of Romance,” Hee Jae felt jealous of Yu Jin’s ex-boyfriend Oh Jin Wook (Kang Sang Jun), which eventually lead to him breaking up with Yu Jin. Despite Yu Jin pleading with him in tears, he coldly broke off their relationship.
The newly released stills depict Hee Jae dealing with the aftermath of his break up with Yu Jin.
In the first still, Hee Jae is seen sitting with Nam Hyun (Choi Yeon) at a food stall. His sad expression and the bottles of soju in front of him seem to suggest that he is having a hard time dealing with the break up.
In another still, Nam Hyun and Go Yoon (Shin Jee Won) are seen enjoying a date at a food stall, surprising viewers. Nam Hyun, who had been swayed by Go Yoon, openly confessed his feelings to Go Yoon but was turned down despite his heartfelt confession. Viewers are curious about how these two ended up enjoying a late-night date together.
Meanwhile, the next episode of “The Villain of Romance” airs on June 27 at 11:30 p.m. KST.
