Watch: Jung Hae In Aims To Safely Bring Back The Deserters In "D.P. 2" Poster And Teaser
“D.P. 2” has dropped a new poster and teaser ahead of the upcoming premiere!
Based on a webtoon, “D.P.” (stands for Deserter Pursuit) is a series about a special military squad sent to chase down deserters. In addition to director Han Jun Hee from the first season, Season 2 will boast the return of the main leads including Jung Hae In and Goo Kyo Hwan as the D.P. unit duo An Jun Ho and Han Ho Yeol, Kim Sung Kyun as Sergeant Park Beom Gu, and Son Suk Ku as Lieutenant Lim Ji Seop. Actors Ji Jin Hee, Kim Ji Hyun, and Choi Hyun Wook are also set to join the cast for the new season.
The newly released poster depicts Jun Ho (Jung Hae In) with his face covered by a hat as he looks toward the front while standing amidst a group of armed soldiers. Although the poster looks similar to the poster from Season 1, the changes since the beginning of Season 1 are evident on Jun Ho’s face. Along with his haggard face, the text on the poster that reads, “Nothing will ever change unless we do something,” raises anticipation for the unfinished story to unfold.
Furthermore, the teaser previews the repeated absurdity and how nothing has changed even after the incident with Private Cho Suk Bong (Cho Hyun Chul).
When the question “What’s our mission?” is tossed, Jun Ho remarks, “To bring them back, safe and sound,” explaining the mission to bring back the deserters.
“D.P.” Season 2 will be released on July 28. Stay tuned!
