Choi Ye Na's "Hate Rodrigo" MV Removed From YouTube, Reportedly At Request Of Olivia Rodrigo's Management
Choi Ye Na’s music video for her new title track “Hate Rodrigo” has been made private on YouTube.
On June 29, fans noticed that Choi Ye Na’s music video for “Hate Rodrigo”—which had been released just two days prior—was now unavailable on YouTube.
That same evening, Korean news outlet Xportsnews reported that the music video had been made private due to a request from Olivia Rodrigo’s management. According to the report, it was not the controversial song title that led to the request, but rather issues with copyright infringement in certain scenes of the music video.
In addition to “Hate Rodrigo” referencing Olivia Rodrigo and several of her song titles in its lyrics, parts of the music video briefly featured photos and images of the American singer.
