Lee Sang Yeob Is A Sports Agent With No Integrity In Upcoming Drama

Upcoming drama “Pure Boxer” (literal title) has shared a new glimpse of Lee Sang Yeob’s character!

“Pure Boxer” is a sports drama based on the novel “Pure Boxer Lee Kwon Sook” written by Choo Jong Nam, the winner of the second Kyobo Bookstore Story Contest. It tells the story of genius boxer Lee Kwon Sook and a cold-blooded agent who doesn’t feel guilty about match-fixing for money and the success of his athletes.

Lee Sang Yeob plays the role of Kim Tae Young, an S&P Sports agent who coaxes talented athletes to sign with him and then retires them in a short period of time after working them to the bone. Kim Tae Young reaches a turning point in his life when he approaches Lee Kwon Sook (Kim So Hye), who disappeared three years ago, for top pitcher Kim Hee Won.

The newly released stills depict Kim Tae Young, an S&P Sports agent, who is full of expediency, tricks, bribery, and flattery. Whether dressed in a baseball jacket, sweats, or sophisticated casual, Kim Tae Young draws attention with his chic aura. He also wears a variety of emotions on his face, raising viewers’ expectations for the character of Kim Tae Young.

“Pure Boxer” is set to premiere in August.
