Kim So Hye Is A Boxing Star In Posters For Upcoming Sports Drama With Lee Sang Yeob

Upcoming drama “Pure Boxer” (literal translation) has shared two new posters!

“Pure Boxer” is a sports drama based on the novel “Pure Boxer Lee Kwon Sook” by Choo Jong Nam, the winner of the second Kyobo Bookstore Story Contest. It tells the story of genius boxer Lee Kwon Sook and a cold-blooded agent named Kim Tae Young (Lee Sang Yeob), who doesn’t feel guilty about match-fixing for money and the success of his athletes.

Kim So Hye stars as Lee Kwon Sook, a genius boxer who emerged as a boxing star at the age of 17. After disappearing right before achieving the Grand Slam, Lee Kwon Sook was living a new life, but when she meets the evil agent Kim Tae Young, she faces a new turning point.

The newly released posters show the traces of Lee Kwon Sook’s past as a boxing star. The first poster features Lee Kwon Sook’s boxing supplies, including red boxing gloves, skipping rope, and punching mitts, as well as a gold medal and a half-eaten donut.

Another poster captures Lee Kwon Sook wearing boxing shoes and a tracksuit, with a loosened boxing hand wrap on one of her hands.
