Stray Kids' "5-Star" Spends 5 Weeks In Top 40 Of Billboard 200, Making Them 3rd K-Pop Artist Ever To Achieve The Feat
Stray Kids has achieved another career first on the Billboard 200 with their latest album “★★★★★ (5-STAR)”!
Last month, Stray Kids made Billboard history when “★★★★★ (5-STAR)” debuted at No. 1 on on its Top 200 Albums chart, making them the first K-pop artist ever to top the chart with all three of their first entries.
On July 11 local time, Billboard revealed that “★★★★★ (5-STAR)” was now spending its fifth consecutive week on the chart at No. 34, making it Stray Kids’ first album ever to spend five weeks in the top 100.
Notably, Stray Kids is only the third K-pop artist in history to chart an album for five consecutive weeks in the top 40 of the Billboard 200, following BTS and TXT.
“★★★★★ (5-STAR)” also climbed back up several other Billboard charts this week, sweeping the No. 2 spot on the Top Album Sales chart, the Top Current Album Sales chart, and the World Albums chart—in addition to staying strong at No. 13 on the Tastemaker Albums chart.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids took No. 15 on Billboard’s Artist 100, marking their 25th non-consecutive week on the chart.
Finally, the group’s title track “S-Class” came in at No. 114 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart and No. 193 on the Global 200 this week.
