NCT DREAM Soars Past 4.1 Million Stock Pre-Orders For "ISTJ"
NCT DREAM is already soaring to new heights with their upcoming album—even before its release!
On July 12, SM Entertainment officially announced that as of July 10, NCT DREAM’s upcoming third full-length album “ISTJ” had surpassed 4.1 million stock pre-orders, marking the group’s highest number of stock pre-orders to date—and setting a new record for the third-highest stock pre-orders of any album in history.
Only two albums have ever recorded a higher number of stock pre-orders to date: SEVENTEEN‘s “FML” and Stray Kids‘ “★★★★★ (5-STAR).”
With a week still left to go until its release, “ISTJ” has already recorded double the final total of stock pre-orders achieved by NCT DREAM’s previous studio album “Glitch Mode,” which wrapped up with approximately 2.07 million stock pre-orders last year.
The number of stock pre-orders is the amount of album stock that is produced prior to an album’s release. The figure is the estimated demand calculated using various factors, including how many albums were pre-ordered by fans.
As NCT DREAM reached 4.1 million stock pre-orders on July 10, it remains to be seen just how much higher that number will climb in the days leading up to their return.
Meanwhile, NCT DREAM will be making their comeback with “ISTJ” on July 17 at 6 p.m. KST. Check out their latest teasers here!
Congratulations to NCT DREAM on their impressive achievement!
