Watch: TXT Hints That They'll Be Performing Unreleased Songs At Lollapalooza 2023
TXT has shared some hints about the set list for their upcoming performance at Lollapalooza!
On the July 12 episode of “Dope Club,” an Mnet web variety show hosted by famous choreographer Mihawk Back (Back Koo Young) of “Street Man Fighter,” TXT’s Beomgyu, Soobin, and Taehyun appeared together as guests.
After becoming the first K-pop group ever to perform at Lollapalooza last year, TXT will be making history again at Lollapalooza 2023 next month as the first K-pop group ever to headline the famous U.S. music festival—as well as the first K-pop artist to perform two years in a row.
When Mihawk Back asked what kinds of songs they planned to sing at Lollapalooza, Beomgyu replied, “We have to fill up about an hour and a half with our music. So we’ve prepared some songs that we performed at our [recent] concerts—and as for new songs, we have the song we did with the Jonas Brothers, as well as some other songs we can’t talk about yet.”
Mihawk Back interjected, “Oh! So there will be unreleased songs [on your set list], then…?” Taehyun playfully responded, “There could be!” Beomgyu jokingly chimed in, “We don’t know!” Meanwhile, someone could be heard asking off-camera, “Is it okay for this to air?”
At other points in the show, the TXT members danced to numerous hit songs by other K-pop artists, and they also wrapped up the episode by performing a highlight medley of their own hits—including “Do It Like That,” their newly released collab single with the Jonas Brothers.
