aespa, Stray Kids, ATEEZ, ENHYPEN, LE SSERAFIM, TWICE, And More Sweep Top Spots On Billboard's World Albums Chart
Billboard has published its World Albums chart for the week ending on July 15!
aespa’s latest mini album “MY WORLD” debuted at No. 1 on this week’s chart, over two months after its initial release in Korea. (Although “MY WORLD” was originally released in Korea and on digital platforms on May 8, the album was only physically released in the United States on June 30, pushing back its debut on the U.S. charts.)
In addition to topping the World Albums chart, “MY WORLD” also entered the Billboard 200 at No. 9, making aespa the fastest K-pop girl group in history to land two albums in the top 10.
Stray Kids’ latest album “★★★★★ (5-STAR)” held steady at No. 2 in its fifth consecutive week on the World Albums chart, and it also became the group’s first album ever to spend five weeks in the top 40 of the Billboard 200.
After two consecutive weeks at No. 1, ATEEZ’s new mini album “THE WORLD EP.2 : OUTLAW” fell to No. 3 on the World Albums chart this week, in addition to becoming their first album to spend three weeks in a row on the Billboard 200.
ENHYPEN’s latest mini album “DARK BLOOD” stayed strong at No. 4 in its sixth consecutive week on the World Albums chart, while LE SSERAFIM’s first full-length album “UNFORGIVEN” ranked No. 6 in its 10th consecutive week.
TWICE’s “READY TO BE” held onto its spot at No. 7 in its 17th week on the chart, and SEVENTEEN’s “FML” followed at No. 8 in its 11th week.
TXT’s “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” took No. 9 in its 23rd consecutive week on the chart, extending its own record as the longest-charting album of 2023, while BTS’s Jimin’s solo debut album “FACE” ranked No. 11 in its 15th week.
NewJeans’ debut EP “New Jeans” re-entered the chart at No. 12 for a 28th non-consecutive week on the chart, followed by BTS’s anthology album “Proof” in its 56th consecutive week and BTS’ Suga’s first official solo album “D-DAY” in its 11th week.
Finally, (G)I-DLE’s “I feel” rounded out the top 15 in its seventh week on the chart.
