ZEROBASEONE Achieves 5th Highest 1st-Week Sales Of Any Artist In Hanteo History With Debut Album
“Boys Planet” group ZEROBASEONE is off to an incredible start!
Last week, ZEROBASEONE—a new project group formed on the Mnet survival show “Boys Planet”—made their debut on July 10 with their first mini album “YOUTH IN THE SHADE.” By the end of the day, the group had already broken the records for the highest first-day and first-week sales of any debut album in Hanteo history (both of which belonged to another Mnet survival show project group, X1, formed on “Produce X 101” back in 2019).
Hanteo Chart has now reported that “YOUTH IN THE SHADE” sold a staggering total of 1,833,028 copies in the first week of its release (July 10 to 16)—more than tripling X1’s previous record for the highest first-week sales of a debut album (524,007).
Additionally, just one week into their career, ZEROBASEONE is already the artist with the fifth-highest first-week sales in Hanteo history. The only artists to achieve higher first-week sales to date are Stray Kids, SEVENTEEN, BTS, and TXT.
Congratulations to ZEROBASEONE on their historic achievement!
