July Idol Group Brand Reputation Rankings Announced
The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for all idol groups!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of various idol groups, using big data collected from June 18 to July 18.
BTS held onto their spot at the top of the list with a brand reputation index of 6,773,406 for July. High-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis included “Jungkook,” “J-Hope,” and “Jimin,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “reveal,” “release,” and “publish.” BTS’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 90.07 percent positive reactions.
NewJeans rose to second place in the rankings with a brand reputation index of 5,971,913, marking a 58.75 percent increase in their score since June.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK took third place for the month with a brand reputation index of 4,960,500.
IVE climbed to fourth place with a brand reputation index of 3,982,683 for July, while SEVENTEEN rounded out the top five with an index of 3,524,694.
