Watch: SM Releases Star-Studded Main Trailer For New Survival Show "NCT Universe : LASTART"
SM Entertainment has unveiled the main trailer for its upcoming survival show “NCT Universe : LASTART“!
“NCT Universe : LASTART” is a new reality show in which trainees will compete for the chance to debut as part of a brand-new NCT unit, which will mark the final chapter of NCT’s expansion. The upcoming group will include SM Rookies Yushi and Sion, who were first introduced to the public last month.
The newly released trailer begins by revealing that the 10 trainees who will be participating in the show were carefully selected through global auditions held all over the world.
After glimpses of the contestants hard at work honing their skills, the trainees are then surprised by a string of visits from SM Entertainment artists like TVXQ’s Changmin, SHINee’s Taemin, EXO’s Xiumin, Super Junior’s Donghae, and NCT’s Ten and Taeyong—all of whom offer the trainees advice and encouragement as mentors.
Later, SHINee’s Key, BoA, and Super Junior’s Eunhyuk are introduced as “artist directors” who will be helping the trainees on the journey. Girls’ Generation’s Hyoyeon, Super Junior’s Leeteuk and Ryeowook, NCT’s Johnny and Haechan, and H.O.T.’s Kangta also make brief appearances in the preview.
“NCT Universe : LASTART” premieres on July 27 and will be available with subtitles on Viki here.
