Get ready to see 2PM’s Lee Junho and Girls’ Generation’s YoonA in their element on JTBC’s “King the Land”!
“King the Land” is a romantic comedy about the unlikely love story between Gu Won (Lee Junho), a chaebol heir who can’t stand fake smiles, and the constantly smiling Cheon Sa Rang (YoonA), who becomes known as the “queen of smiles” while working her way up at the King Hotel.
Spoilers
On the next episode of “King the Land,” Gu Won will tackle his first truly high-stakes project at the King Hotel: planning the hotel’s 100th anniversary celebration. Not only is the party a chance to challenge Gu Hwa Ran (Kim Sun Young), who has been constantly provoking him, but it is his first real chance to prove himself to his father Gu Il Hoon (Son Byung Ho) as a worthy successor.
In order to make the most of this opportunity, Gu Won personally oversees even the smallest details of the event throughout the planning process, from the food to the setup of the stage.
Meanwhile, Cheon Sa Rang will once again prove her worth as the King Hotel’s star employee as she aces her role at the party. A consummate professional, the naturally talented Cheon Sa Rang is quick on her feet in any situation—and no matter what unexpected circumstances come her way, her smile never falters.
While Cheon Sa Rang tends to the VVIP guests at the glitzy event, Gu Won takes the stage to lead the celebration. Notably, Gu Won has a hidden card up his sleeve: to the shock of not only Gu Il Hoon and Gu Hwa Ran but also the hotel’s executive management, Gu Won has prepared a secret weapon in the form of an unexpected VVIP guest.
To find out what surprises Gu Won has in store for the party, tune in to the next episode of “King the Land” on July 22 at 10:30 p.m. KST!
