August Boy Group Brand Reputation Rankings Announced
The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for male idol groups!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community indexes of various boy groups, using big data collected from July 12 to August 12.
BTS topped the list for the 63rd consecutive month with a brand reputation index of 6,543,983. High-ranking phrases in their keyword analysis included “Jungkook,” “V,” and “photocard,” while while their highest-ranking related terms included “record,” “release,” and “enlist.” The group’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 85.11 percent positive reactions.
SEVENTEEN took second place in the rankings with a brand reputation index of 4,944,749, marking a 10.10 percent rise in their score since July.
EXO rose to third place after seeing an impressive 145.77 percent increase in their brand reputation index, bringing their total score for August to 4,572,081.
Meanwhile, INFINITE shot to fourth place after enjoying a staggering 539.88 percent increase in their own brand reputation index since July. The group’s total score for the month was 3,480,732.
Finally, “Boys Planet” project group ZEROBASEONE rounded out the top five for August with a brand reputation index of 2,459,420.
