TWICE's Jihyo Debuts In Top 15 Of Billboard 200, Making Her 2nd Female K-Pop Soloist In History To Enter Top 100
TWICE’s Jihyo has made an impressive debut on the Billboard charts!
For the week ending on September 2, Jihyo’s solo debut mini album “ZONE” entered Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart (its weekly ranking of the most popular albums in the United States) at No. 14, marking her debut on the chart as a solo artist.
Jihyo is only the second female K-pop soloist in history to enter the top 100 of the Billboard 200, joining her bandmate Nayeon, whose own solo debut mini album “IM NAYEON” reached a peak of No. 7 on the chart last year.
Additionally, Jihyo debuted at No. 10 on Billboard’s Artist 100 this week, making her only the second female K-pop soloist in history to enter the top 50 (once again, following Nayeon, who debuted at No. 5 last year).
Outside of the Billboard 200, “ZONE” debuted at No. 3 on Billboard’s World Albums chart this week, in addition to sweeping the No. 4 spot on both the Top Album Sales chart and the Top Current Album Sales chart.
Meanwhile, Jihyo’s solo debut track “Killin’ Me Good” entered Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart at No. 11, the Global Excl. U.S. chart at No. 127, and the Global 200 at No. 193.
Congratulations to Jihyo!
