Uhm Ki Joon, Hwang Jung Eum, Lee Yoo Bi, And More Are Trapped With No Way To Escape In Poster For Upcoming Drama
Upcoming SBS drama “The Escape of the Seven” has unveiled a brand new poster!
Starring Uhm Ki Joon, Hwang Jung Eum, Lee Joon, Lee Yoo Bi, Shin Eun Kyung, Yoon Jong Hoon, Jo Yoon Hee, and Jo Jae Yoon, “The Escape of the Seven” follows the story of seven characters involved in the disappearance of a young girl, who was tangled in a complicated web of lies and ambition. “The Escape of the Seven” is the third joint project by scriptwriter Kim Soon Ok and director Joo Dong Min who previously worked together on “The Last Empress” and the hit “The Penthouse” series.
Uhm Ki Joon will star as Matthew Lee, a representative of Korea’s largest mobile platform company, Hwang Jung Eum will play Geum Ra Hee, a competent and daring head of a drama production company, Lee Joon will play Min Do Hyuk, a man living without dreams or hopes, Lee Yoo Bi will star as Han Mo Ne, a campus star and idol trainee with a fatal weakness, Shin Eun Kyung will take on the role of Cha Joo Ran, an obstetrician-gynecologist, Yoon Jong Hoon will play Yang Jin Mo, the CEO of an agency named Cherry Entertainment, Jo Yoon Hee will star as art teacher Go Myung Ji, and Jo Jae Yoon will play Nam Chul Woo, a detective at Deokseon Police Station.
In the released poster, nine people stained with blood, sweat, and dirt are trapped somewhere. They are captured staring at the same place with a crazy look in their eyes. They struggle to escape, but the more they struggle, the deeper they sink. The poster also depicts Matthew Lee with a smile on his face as if he’s enjoying the situation. The words on the poster reading, “No one is free from this death,” have viewers wondering about the wicked people and the death game they will play on the game board designed to punish them. Viewers can’t wait to see if the wicked people can escape the punishments prepared for them.
The production team of “The Escape of the Seven” commented, “Please tune in to see what kind of huge events the numerous lies and desires will cause and how evil the wicked people will become,” adding, “No matter what you imagine, there will be more hell than that.”
