NewJeans' "Super Shy" Becomes 3rd K-Pop Girl Group Song To Spend 9 Weeks On UK's Official Singles Chart
Over two months after its release, NewJeans’ “Super Shy” is still charting in the United Kingdom!
On September 8 local time, the United Kingdom’s Official Charts (widely regarded as the U.K. equivalent to Billboard’s U.S. charts) announced that NewJeans’ hit song “Super Shy” had successfully remained on its Official Singles Chart for a ninth consecutive week.
For the week of September 7 to 13, “Super Shy”—which previously peaked at No. 52—charted at No. 99.
“Super Shy” is only the third K-pop girl group song ever to spend nine weeks on the Official Singles Chart, following BLACKPINK and Dua Lipa’s 2018 collab “Kiss and Make Up” and FIFTY FIFTY’s recent hit “Cupid.”
Congratulations to NewJeans!
