Stray Kids' "5-STAR" Becomes Their 1st Album To Spend 15 Weeks On Billboard 200
Stray Kids has just reached an impressive milestone on the Billboard 200!
Back in June, Stray Kids made history when their latest album “★★★★★ (5-STAR)” debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart, making the group the first K-pop artist ever to top the chart with all three of their first entries. In the months since, “★★★★★ (5-STAR)”—which is currently the best-selling K-pop album of the year in the United States in terms of pure sales—has enjoyed a stable run on the chart.
This week, “★★★★★ (5-STAR)” became Stray Kids’ first album ever to chart for 15 weeks on the Billboard 200: for the week ending on September 23, the album spent its 15th consecutive week on the chart at No. 186.
Notably, Stray Kids is only the fourth male K-pop artist in history—and the fifth K-pop act overall—to chart an album for 15 weeks on the Billboard 200. The only other K-pop artists to achieve the feat to date are BTS, BLACKPINK, NCT 127, and TXT.
“★★★★★ (5-STAR)” also held steady at No. 4 in its 15h consecutive week on Billboard’s World Albums chart, in addition to ranking No. 13 on both the Top Album Sales chart and the Top Current Album Sales chart.
Finally, Stray Kids came in at No. 80 on this week’s Artist 100, marking their 35th non-consecutive week on the chart.
Congratulations to Stray Kids!
