Watch: Pyo Ye Jin And Kim Young Dae Feel The Passage Of Time Differently In "Moon In The Day" Teaser And Posters
ENA’s upcoming drama “Moon in the Day” has unveiled new posters and a teaser ahead of its premiere!
Based on a hit webtoon, “Moon in the Day” tells a chilling and heartbreaking love story that spans 1,500 years. Moving back and forth between the past and present, the drama will follow a man for whom time has stopped after being killed by his lover and a woman who has lost her memories of her past life and continues to “flow like a river.”
Kim Young Dae takes on the dual roles of Han Jun Oh, a well-known top star in Korea, and Do Ha, an elite noble of the Silla Dynasty. After experiencing a car crash, Han Jun Oh’s body is possessed by Do Ha’s soul who has a completely different personality from Jun Oh.
Pyo Ye Jin plays the dual roles of Kang Young Hwa, a firefighter-turned-bodyguard, and Ha Ni Ta, the sole survivor of a noble family from Daegaya (a city-state) in the Silla Dynasty. Kang Young Hwa’s life completely changes after saving top star Han Jun Oh from a car crash on the day they were filming a public service advertisement together.
The newly released posters depict Han Jun Oh and Kang Young Hwa in both present day and in the past. In Han Jun Oh’s poster, Han Jun Oh looks plaintive as he looks off into the distance. The text on his poster reads, “This time, I will kill you first without fail,” making viewers curious to learn about the love that transformed into revenge within Do Ha’s heart.
In sharp contrast with Han Jun Oh’s poster, Kang Young Hwa’s meaningful expression reflects her deep past. The text on her poster reads, “I love you,” creating a completely different vibe from Do Ha’s desire for revenge.
Furthermore, the teaser captures Do Ha standing alone and looking lonely in front of a vast mountain range. As hundreds of years pass by in a flash, the text, “After 1,500 years of waiting, I met you,” appears on screen. The appearance of Kang Young Hwa from modern day overlaps with that of Ha Ni Ta from the past, hinting at her reincarnation. Do Ha narrates, “I’m stuck here stagnant, but you continue to flow by endlessly.”
