Watch: FANTASY BOYS Covers SEVENTEEN, RIIZE, And NewJeans On "Weekly Idol"
FANTASY BOYS showed off their versatility on the latest episode of “Weekly Idol”!
The new boy group formed on the MBC survival show “Fantasy Boys” appeared as guests on the September 27 episode of “Weekly Idol,” where they performed their debut track “New Tomorrow” and introduced themselves to both the MCs and viewers.
For the program’s signature “Weekly Playlist” segment, FANTASY BOYs prepared a dance cover of SEVENTEEN’s hit song “Super.”
Kang Minseo explained, “Like SEVENTEEN, FANTASY BOYS has a lot of members. So we wanted to emulate SEVENTEEN’s cohesiveness and the energy of their performance, and that’s why we chose ‘Super.’”
Meanwhile, at another point in the episode, several of the FANTASY BOYS members stepped up to prove their dancing skills through a “K-pop random play dance” in which they had to cover recent hits by other idols.
The songs that the FANTASY BOYS members covered on the spot included RIIZE’s “Get A Guitar” and NewJeans’ “Super Shy.”
