Chae Jong Hyeop, Cha Hak Yeon, And Kim Joo Heon Want To Help Park Eun Bin Achieve Her Dreams In "Castaway Diva"
tvN has shared brand-new stills from its upcoming drama “Castaway Diva”!
“Castaway Diva” is a new romantic comedy starring Park Eun Bin as Seo Mok Ha, an aspiring singer who gets stranded on a deserted island while traveling to Seoul for an audition. The drama marks the reunion of director Oh Choong Hwan and writer Park Hye Ryun, who previously worked together on “While You Were Sleeping” and “Start-Up.”
In addition to Park Eun Bin, the drama will also star Chae Jong Hyeop, VIXX’s Cha Hak Yeon (N), and Kim Joo Heon.
Chae Jong Hyeop plays Kang Bo Geol, a PD (producing director) in YGN’s entertainment department. Kang Bo Geol has an unusually calm and unemotional personality for a variety show PD, but everything about his life changes when he becomes involved with Seo Mok Ha.
Cha Hak Yeon plays Kang Bo Geol’s older brother Kang Woo Hak, a reporter in YGN’s newsroom. He is a hardworking reporter with a great deal of love for his family and the determination to get answers to his questions. When Seo Mok Ha is found on a deserted island, he becomes interested in her and accompanies her on her journey to pursue her dreams.
Kim Joo Heon plays Lee Seo Joon, the CEO of the entertainment company to which Seo Mok Ha’s idol Yoon Ran Joo (Kim Hyo Jin) belongs. He is a CEO with an elite background, great character, and impeccable manners who has grown his one-man agency into a large entertainment company.
“Castaway Diva” is set to premiere on October 28 at 9:20 p.m. KST. Check out a teaser for the drama here!
