HyunA Signs With AT AREA + Agency Comments Briefly On Her Being Labelmates With DAWN
HyunA has found a new agency to call home!
On November 6, OSEN reported that HyunA signed an exclusive contract with hip hop label AT AREA founded by producing duo GroovyRoom.
In response to the report, a source from AT AREA confirmed, “We recently signed an exclusive contract with HyunA.”
AT AREA is home to many artists including GEMINI, Mirani, BLASÉ, and HyunA’s ex-boyfriend and solo artist DAWN. On signing an exclusive contract with HyunA, AT AREA remarked, “[HyunA’s] private matters with DAWN were not considered in the slightest. We placed focus only on HyunA’s capabilities and presence as an artist.”
After publicly announcing their relationship in 2018, HyunA and DAWN left CUBE Entertainment and signed with PSY‘s agency P NATION together. The two parted ways with P NATION in August 2022, and announced their breakup in November 2022. DAWN signed with AT AREA earlier in January this year.
HyunA is currently gearing up for the release of her digital single “Attitude” on November 6 at 6 p.m. KST.
