Song Kang Is Determined To Hold On To His Humanity In Poster For "Sweet Home 2"
“Sweet Home 2” has unveiled a brand new poster!
Based on a webtoon of the same name, “Sweet Home” is a popular series about Cha Hyun Su (Song Kang), a loner high school student who moves into a new apartment when monsters start breaking out among humanity and the apartment residents are trapped inside the building. Season 2 will focus on how Cha Hyun Su and other survivors struggle to survive after leaving Green Home.
In the newly released poster, Hyun Su is captured with a monster-like wing covered in sharp spikes with helicopter lights and soldiers’ guns pointed at him. Between Cha Hyun Su, who is turning into a monster in an abandoned stadium, and the helicopter lights and soldiers’ guns, viewers can’t help but wonder what will happen next. Cha Hyun Su, who has become the only hope for the residents of Green Home after refusing to become a monster, leaves Green Home and goes out into the world full of monsters. He faces a great dilemma of whether to remain a human being or become a monster.
Song Kang commented, “I had a thirst for something emotionally deeper and more dramatic, and coming back to ‘Sweet Home’ and expressing my emotions in a dramatic way quenched a lot of that thirst, and I was able to learn a lot about myself and develop a lot more.”
Director Lee Eung Bok shared, “The story focuses on how Hyun Su preserves his humanity until the end, even on the edge of despair.”
Check out a teaser for the drama below!
“Sweet Home” Season 2 premieres on December 1.
