aespa Becomes 1st K-Pop Girl Group To Surpass 1 Million 1st-Week Sales With 3 Albums

aespa is back with another “million-seller” album!

On November 17, Hanteo Chart officially announced that aespa’s new mini album “Drama” had sold an impressive total of 1,130,379 copies in the first week of its release (November 10 to 16).

Notably, aespa is now the first female artist in Hanteo history to sell over 1 million copies of three different albums within the first week of their release. Before “Drama,” aespa surpassed 1 million first-week sales with both their previous mini album “MY WORLD” and their 2022 mini album “Girls.”

“Drama” has also been topping music charts in China, where it hit No. 1 on both QQ Music’s and KuGou Music’s digital album sales charts. The album’s title track “Drama” also reached No. 1 on QQ Music’s music video chart and rising chart.
