'My Dearest' Finale Achieves Highest Ratings Of Its Entire Run

MBC’s “My Dearest” has ended on an all-time high!

On November 18, the popular historical romance drama earned its highest viewership ratings yet for its series finale. According to Nielsen Korea, the final episode of “My Dearest” scored an average nationwide rating of 12.9 percent, marking a new all-time high for both Part 1 and Part 2 of the show.

Not only did “My Dearest” take first place in its time slot across all channels, but the drama was also the most-watched program of Saturday among the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 49, with whom it earned an average rating of 4.1 percent. 

Meanwhile, tvN’s “Castaway Diva” kicked off the second half of its run on an average nationwide rating of 6.1 percent, taking first place in its time slot across all cable channels.

KBS’s new historical drama “Korea-Khitan War,” which airs in the same time slot as “Castaway Diva,” scored an average nationwide rating of 5.2 percent for its third episode.

JTBC’s “Strong Girl Namsoon” also took first place in its time slot across all cable channels with an average nationwide rating of 7.4 percent for the night.

MBN’s “Perfect Marriage Revenge,” which entered the second half of its run last night, maintained its average nationwide rating of 1.8 percent from its previous episode last week.

Finally, KBS 2TV’s “Live Your Own Life” defended its title as the most-watched program of Saturday with an average nationwide rating of 14.5 percent.
