Hong Ye Ji Is An Assassin Who Becomes The Crown Prince’s Concubine In Upcoming Historical Drama With Park Ji Hoon
Upcoming drama “Love Song for Illusion” has shared stills of Hong Ye Ji!
Based on a popular webtoon, “Love Song for Illusion” is a historical fantasy romance drama that tells both the heart-fluttering love story and fierce obsession between a man with two conflicting personalities and a woman who loves him. “Love Song for Illusion” is a collaboration between writer Yoon Kyung Ah of “Perfect Wife” and “Moments of 18” and director Lee Jung Sup of “Dali and Cocky Prince,” “Queen for Seven Days,”and “Healer.”
Hong Ye Ji will portray Yeon Wol, who lives a life full of twists and turns, going from an assassin to a concubine. Yeon Wol is the royal descendant of the fallen Yeon Dynasty and the only daughter of Yeon Poong Hak. Yeon Wol hides her identity and becomes assassin Gye Ra to avenge her family but ends up unknowingly becoming the crown prince’s concubine.
The released stills portray Yeon Wol, a royal descendant of a fallen dynasty, as an assassin looking for an opportunity to avenge her family and also as the crown prince’s concubine. Viewers are looking forward to seeing how the complicated relationship between Yeon Wol and the crown prince, who has two different personalities, will be portrayed. And they are also looking forward to seeing the chemistry between Hong Ye Ji and Park Ji Hoon, who will play the two diametrically opposed characters, crown prince Sajo Hyun and his alter ego Ak Hee.
“Love Song for Illusion” is set to premiere in January 2024.
