So when the inevitable happens after she kisses her colleague Jin Seo Won (Cha Eun Woo), the only way to her salvation is for him to kiss her back. The catch here—Seo Won is afraid of dogs. Based on the webtoon, this fantasy romance drama retains the essence of its source material. The drama is a funny and lighthearted fare for those days when you just need to put your feet up and go woof!

Perfect Marriage Revenge
This drama follows the story of a woman who is hell-bent on settling scores with her former husband. Han Yi Joo (Jung Yoo Min), the daughter of a wealthy family, has always felt the lack of love from her parents and sister. Isolated from her own family, she is crushed to know that her own husband has no feelings for her but is in love with her sister. When she gets in an accident, she travels back in time and plots the perfect revenge on her family and husband by entering into a contract marriage with Seo Do Guk (Sung Hoon), the heir to a vast fortune. A captivating storyline with well etched out characters makes it an interesting watch. Jung Yoo Min breathes life into her character, bringing her rage and disappointments to the fore.

True Beauty
Lim Ju Gyeong (Moon Ga Young) has been bullied and mocked for her less than ordinary looks. When her family relocates to a new neighborhood, Ju Gyeong gets the perfect opportunity to transform herself to a completely new person through makeup. With “goddess” prefixed to her name, Ju Gyeong becomes the school’s most popular sought-after girl. However, being famous comes with its own set of complications when she finds herself as the object of affection of both the aloof Lee Su Ho (Cha Eun Woo) and the so-called bad boy Han Seo Jun (Hwang In Yeop). Su Ho and Seo Jun also have their own past history as they were once best friends who are now archenemies. Though it is a high school romance, True Beauty drives home a pertinent point of being comfortable in your skin. The three actors are totally in sync with each other, and the classic second-lead syndrome might break your heart a bit.

Yumi’s Cells
Yumi (Kim Go Eun) is an office worker going through the humdrum of daily life. She has put her dreams to be a writer on the back burner and keeps away from any emotional entanglements, but things change when she meets Woong (Ahn Bo Hyun), a video game creator. Her heart flutters and love comes calling, only for the couple to go their separate ways. Yumi is heartbroken but soon finds love again in Season 2 with her co-worker Yoo Babi (Jinyoung), who has always made his interest in her obvious, and also quits her job to become a full-time writer. Yumi’s Cells is a brilliantly executed drama that blends live action with 3D animation, narrating Yumi’s thoughts through the perspective of her cells that are cute unitard clad creatures. Kim Go Eun is a natural actor fitting easily into Yumi’s shoes, and she shows fantastic chemistry with both Ahn Bo Hyun and Jinyoung.

Reborn Rich
When Yoon Hyun Woo (Song Joong Ki), the loyal secretary to an influential yet morally corrupt conglomerate family, is treacherously killed after being framed for a crime, it spells doom for the family. He remembers everything of his past as well as the family’s deepest secrets, which can shake the very ground on which their fortunes rest. Reborn Rich is an intriguing drama that comes with several twists and cliffhangers. Song Joong Ki handles his double roles with finesse, proving his versatility and ability to get the essence of the character.

So I Married the Anti-Fan
Superstar celebrity Who Joon (Choi Tae Joon) meets his match in a feisty magazine reporter Lee Geun Young (Sooyoung) at a club. Things go horribly wrong, and Geun Young is sacked from her job. Convinced that it’s because of Who Joon, she decides to take him on and is labeled his biggest anti-fan. The drama around Geun Young becomes the source of inspiration for a reality show where a celebrity lives with an anti-fan. Though both Who Joon and Geun Young resist at first, they eventually accept and go out of their way to make life tough for each other. However, spending time together leads to unexpected changes for this duo. This drama is a hilarious riot all the way and also gives insight into the world of celebrities from a non-celebrity’s perspective. Sooyoung proves once again that she is uninhibited whenever she takes on a role, Choi Tae Joon showcases his great flair for comedy.

Kang Mi Rae (Im Soo Hyang) is quite insecure when it comes to her physical appearance and decides to get plastic surgery to change this. Then when she goes to college, she meets Do Kyung Suk (Cha Eun Woo), a handsome and popular student who she once went to elementary school with. He recognizes her and shows interest, but it was never her looks that attracted him. Will Mi Rae overcome her deep issues related to appearance and accept herself? My ID is Gangnam Beauty! scores big time for its amazing cast and the chemistry between Im Soo Hyang and Cha Eun Woo. It goes beyond a love story but addresses the deep-rooted concept of beauty standards and gaining acceptance in society.

Cheese In The Trap
Hong Seol (Kim Go Eun) and Yoo Jung (Park Hae Jin) are two students at a university who find themselves in a complex and emotional relationship. Hong Seol works hard between jobs to pay her college fees and studies even harder to maintain her grades. Yoo Jung comes from immense wealth, and though extremely intelligent, he is also strange and mysterious in his way with an aloof and arrogant personality. Going beyond being just a campus romance, Cheese In The Trap unravels the complexities and layers of the characters, especially Yoo Jung who is not your typical male lead. Park Hae Jin gets under the skin of his character as the complex Yoo Jung, while Kim Go Eun is endearing as the feisty Hong Seol who is willing to stand for what she believes in.
