December Girl Group Brand Reputation Rankings Announced
The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for girl groups!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community indexes of various girl groups, using big data collected from November 10 to December 10.
BLACKPINK rose to the top of this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 6,148,842, marking a 55.71 percent increase in their score since November. High-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis included “full group,” “Yang Hyun Suk,” and “YG Entertainment,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “contract renewal,” “soar,” and “sign.” BLACKPINK’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 93.54 percent positive reactions.
Meanwhile, NewJeans took second place on the list with a brand reputation index of 4,730,218.
IVE came in at a close third for December with a brand reputation index of 4,547,363.
YG Entertainment’s new girl group BABYMONSTER entered the rankings at fourth place with a brand reputation index of 2,691,229.
Finally, aespa rounded out the top five with a brand reputation index of 2,594,605, marking a 16.07 percent rise in their score since last month.
