Honey Lee And Lee Jong Won Wind Up In Each Other's Arms In 'Knight Flower'

MBC’s upcoming drama “Knight Flower” (also known as “Flower That Blooms at Night”) has shared a sneak peek of the chemistry between its two leads!

Set in the Joseon era, “Knight Flower” is an action-comedy drama starring Honey Lee as Jo Yeo Hwa, a woman who has lived a quiet and modest life as a virtuous widow by day for 15 years. However, she is secretly leading a double life: at night, she valiantly sneaks out to help those in need.

Lee Jong Won will star in the drama as Park Soo Ho, a military officer with a sharp mind and exceptional combat skills. On top of these strengths, he also has a gentle personality and upstanding character.

In newly released stills from the upcoming drama, a flustered Jo Yeo Hwa unexpectedly winds up falling into Park Soo Ho’s arms while wearing mourning attire. As Park Soo Ho gazes into her eyes from up close, the widow is visibly startled by their proximity.

In a different photo, Jo Yeo Hwa steals a glance at Park Soo Ho as she surreptitiously passes by him. Although she is clearly aware of his presence, Park Soo Ho acts nonchalant, as if he has taken no notice of her. The photo raises the question of why Jo Yeo Hwa and Park Soo Ho are pretending not to have seen one another—especially after getting so close in an earlier moment.

Finally, Jo Yeo Hwa and Park Soo Ho once again find their way into one another’s arms at night, when Jo Yeo Hwa has transformed into a masked hero. However, this time, their focus is not on each other, but on the suspenseful fight that is unfolding before them.

“Knight Flower” will premiere on January 12, 2024 at 9:50 p.m. KST. Check out a teaser for the drama here!
