Hwang In Youp, Jung Chaeyeon, And Bae Hyeon Seong Confirmed To Star In New Romance Drama
Hwang In Youp, Jung Chaeyeon, and Bae Hyeon Seong will be starring in a new drama together!
On December 13, it was confirmed that Hwang In Youp, Jung Chaeyeon, and Bae Hyeon Seong will be starring in JTBC’s new drama “Family by Choice” (working title).
“Family by Choice” is a romance story that unfolds as three people, who are not related by blood but spent their teens together while insisting that they are family, reunite after 10 years.
Hwang In Youp will play the handsome Kim San Ha who doesn’t appear to be lacking in anything. After growing up with Yoon Ju Won and Kang Hae Jun like siblings, he becomes separated from them for 10 years. Already, viewers are anticipating how Hwang In Youp will portray Kim San Ha, who is surrounded by circumstances he can not reveal to anyone.
Jung Chaeyeon will take on the role of the optimistic and strong Yoon Ju Won, who grew up receiving love from a father who runs a kalguksu (Korean noodle dish) restaurant. No matter what people around her said, Yoon Ju Won considered Kim San Ha and Kang Hae Jun to be family and relied upon them. Jung Chaeyeon will captivate viewers by portraying the warm and lovable Yoon Ju Won.
Bae Hyeon Seong will transform in to Kang Hae Jun who is adorable and bright like the sun despite facing difficulties at a young age. He sincerely loves and follows Yoon Ju Won and Kim San Ha who took him in like family. In particular, Kang Hae Jun passionately plays basketball in order to repay Yoon Ju Won’s father, raising anticipation for Bae Hyeon Seong’s character.
The production team shared, “‘Family by Choice’ is a drama with the message that small and happy memories gather together to make an affectionate adult. Please look forward to the performances of the actors who will realistically create the narrative of the three who were each other’s reliable family no matter what people said.”
