FANTASY BOYS' Agency To Take Legal Action Against Malicious Rumors About Kim Gyurae
FANTASY BOYS’ agency has warned legal action against those who spread malicious rumors.
On December 18, dating rumors between Kim Gyurae and a staff member in her 20s began circulating on an online community along with leaked content of their messenger conversation.
In response to the report, FANTASY BOYS’ agency Pocketdol Studio released the following statement:
Hello. This is Pocketdol Studio.
We would like to inform you about FANTASY BOYS member Kim Gyurae.[Kim Gyurae] is truly apologetic and reflecting on himself for causing disappointment and confusion not only to the team and members but also to fans due to issues related to his private life that are currently being leaked and circulated without permission through social media and online communities.
However, we would like to inform you that the content of the conversation that has been leaked is clearly misleading.
The person who leaked and circulated the social media content is continuing to defame the artist by spreading information that is different from the facts by maliciously editing the messenger conversations and creating unfounded false information.

We monitored the facts mentioned above, collected evidence, and identified the person who leaked and circulated the information without permission, and we plan to file a complaint to the local police station this afternoon.
In addition, we are considering additional legal action against the specified person not only for defamation of the artist with unauthorized release and circulation [of content] but also for various illegal acts such as cybercrime and intimidation.
For the sake of artists and fans, we will not only file lawsuits but also respond strongly to all secondary harm such as the thoughtless creation, circulation, and reproduction of personal information related to the artist through additional posts without any settlement or leniency.
We will continue to do our best to manage our artists.
