K-Pop Artists Claim 51 Spots On Oricon's 2023 Year-End Album And Single Charts

Oricon’s year-end rankings for 2023 are out!

Each year, Oricon—Japan’s largest music statistics site—publishes its annual rankings of the best-selling albums and singles in Japan.

K-pop artists claimed a whopping 41 of the 100 spots on the 2023 album rankings, where SEVENTEEN and Stray Kids collectively swept five spots in this year’s top 10. SEVENTEEN took No. 3 with their Korean mini album “FML,” No. 5 with their Japanese best-of compilation album “ALWAYS YOURS,” and No. 7 with their latest Korean mini album “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN.”

Meanwhile, Stray Kids took No. 4 with their Japanese EP “Social Path (feat. LiSA) / Super Bowl -Japanese ver.-“ and No. 9 with their first Japanese studio album “THE SOUND.”
