Park Ji Hoon And Hwang Hee Are Brothers Entwined In Power Struggle For The Throne In “Love Song For Illusion"
KBS2’s “Love Song for Illusion” has unveiled new stills ahead of its upcoming premiere!
Based on a popular webtoon, “Love Song for Illusion” is a historical fantasy romance that follows both the heart-fluttering love story and the fierce obsession of a man with two conflicting personalities and the woman who loves him.
Park Ji Hoon will play the dual roles of Crown Prince Sajo Hyun and his alter ego Ak Hee. With his beautiful looks and intelligent mind, Sajo Hyun is a character who uses his innate artistic sense to work as a fashion designer at a downtown boutique while hiding his identity as the crown prince. He has a wound deep down in his heart from his childhood due to his oppressive father Sajo Seung.
Hwang Hee will play Sajo Yung, Sajo Hyun’s half-brother born of the King’s concubine. Despite earning recognition within the palace for his admirable character, Sajo Yung conceals hidden dark ambitions beneath his exterior.
With each harboring secrets, a riveting conflict unfolds between the two brothers as they vie for the throne.
Director Lee Jeong Seop commented, “In the drama, Sajo Hyun, Yeon Wol (Hong Ye Ji), Sajo Yung, and Geum Hwa (Ji Woo) are all characters with dualities. Just as I had confidence that Park Ji Hoon would skillfully portray his dual characters, I also had trust that Hwang Hee would turn Sajo Yung into a charming antagonist.”
“Love Song for Illusion” is set to premiere on January 2 at 9:45 p.m. KST. Check out a teaser here!
