Song Kang Ho's First-Ever Drama Series Confirms Cast Lineup And Broadcast Schedule
Song Kang Ho’s first-ever drama has confirmed its broadcast plans!
On January 3, it was confirmed that the star-studded new drama “Uncle Sam Sik” (literal title) will premiere in the first half of 2024 via Disney+.
“Uncle Sam Sik” is a drama that tells the story of ambitions and bromance of two men, Uncle Sam Sik and Kim San, who survived the turbulent period of the early 1960s in Korea.
Song Kang Ho will play the role of Uncle Sam Sik while Byun Yo Han will portray Kim San, a top elite student from the Korea Military Academy and a recipient of the Albright scholarship. Alongside the lead characters, Lee Kyu Hyung will star as Kang Sung Min, a candidate to be the next leader, Seo Hyun Woo as the elite army soldier Jeong Han Min, who went to train alongside Kim San as another recipient of the Albright scholarship, and Jin Ki Joo as Kim San’s love Joo Yeo Jin. Previously in June of 2023, Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany Young was also confirmed to join the cast.
