Ji Chang Wook Turns Down Offer + Go Hyun Jung In Talks For Korean Adaptation Of French Thriller "La Mante"
Ji Chang Wook has declined an offer to star in the upcoming Korean adaptation of “La Mante.”
On January 9, TenAsia reported that Ji Chang Wook was set to play the male lead in the upcoming series “La Mante.”
In response to the report, a representative from his agency Spring Company clarified, “While it’s true that Ji Chang Wook received an offer to star in ‘La Mante,’ he had declined [the offer] due to scheduling conflicts.”
Meanwhile, back in November, it was revealed that Go Hyun Jung was in talks to take on the lead role in the series. A representative from her agency IOK Company shared, “She is currently reviewing the offer to appear in ‘La Mante.’ It is one of the projects she has received an offer for.”
Based on the French thriller series of the same name, “La Mante” tells the story of a woman who has been imprisoned as a serial killer for a long time. As a series of murders that mirror her distinctive style unfold, she is approached by the police to assist in solving the cases.
