Honey Lee's "Knight Flower" Premieres To Highest Ratings Of Any MBC Friday-Saturday Drama Since 2021
MBC’s new drama “Knight Flower” is off to a strong start!
Set in the Joseon era, “Knight Flower” is an action-comedy drama starring Honey Lee as Jo Yeo Hwa, a woman who has lived a quiet and modest life as a virtuous widow by day for 15 years. However, she is secretly leading a double life: at night, she valiantly sneaks out to help those in need.
On January 12, the highly-anticipated new drama premiered to No. 1 ratings. According to Nielsen Korea, the first episode of “Knight Flower” scored an average nationwide rating of 7.9 percent, making it the most-watched Friday-Saturday drama of the night.
Additionally, “Knight Flower” achieved the highest premiere ratings of any MBC Friday-Saturday drama since 2021.
Meanwhile, SBS’s “My Demon”—which airs in the same time slot as “Knight Flower”—earned an average nationwide rating of 3.6 percent for the night.
