Park Ji Hoon Is Overwhelmed With Emotions As He Faces Hong Ye Ji In "Love Song For Illusion"
KBS2’s “Love Song for Illusion” has unveiled new stills ahead of the upcoming episode!
Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, “Love Song for Illusion” is a historical fantasy romance that follows both the heart-fluttering love story and the fierce obsession of Crown Prince Sajo Hyun (Park Ji Hoon), who has an alter ego known as Ak Hee, and Yeon Wol (Hong Ye Ji), a fallen royal descendant who becomes an assassin to avenge her family but inadvertently ends up becoming the crown prince’s concubine.
Spoilers
Previously, when Yeon Wol woke up after losing consciousness once more, she recalled all her forgotten memories. Yeon Wol remembered that she is the descendant of the fallen royal family and that she returned to the palace to kill her parents’ enemies. Yeon Wol raised tension as she held a knife behind the back of the Crown Prince who hugged her affectionately.
The newly released stills depict the two facing and looking at each other amidst a tragic atmosphere. In the photo, Sajo Hyun lets out the tears that he is unable to hold back, while Yeon Wol looks back at him with a blank gaze and a facial expression that is difficult to read.
As the emotions overwhelm him, Sajo Hyun kneels in front of Yeon Wol while appearing to be greatly distressed. Since the two are intertwined in an ill-fated relationship, viewers are curious to find out if Sajo Hyun is kneeling out of guilt or hatred or an entirely different reason.
The next episode of “Love Song for Illusion” will air on January 15 at 10:10 p.m. KST.
