Watch: Kim Soo Hyun, Kim Ji Won, And More Showcase Perfect Chemistry At Script Reading For New Drama
tvN’s upcoming Saturday-Sunday drama “Queen of Tears” has shared a sneak peek of the first script reading!
Penned by “Crash Landing on You,” “My Love From the Star,” and “Producer” writer Park Ji Eun, “Queen of Tears” will follow the romance of Hong Hae In (Kim Ji Won), the chaebol heiress known as the “queen” of Queens Group’s department stores, and Baek Hyeon Woo (Kim Soo Hyun), who is the son of the head of Yongduri and the “supermarket prince,” as they face a crisis three years into marriage and start their love again like a miracle.
At the reading were lead actors Kim Soo Hyun, Kim Ji Won, Lee Joo Bin, Park Sung Hoon, Kwak Dong Yeon, and more, delivering performances filled with enthusiasm and immersion in a warm atmosphere.
Kim Soo Hyun expresses the subtle emotions of Baek Hyeon Woo, who is intimidated by the power of his wife’s chaebol family but pretends that he is calm on the outside.
On the other hand, Kim Ji Won portrays Hong Hae In, the CEO of Queens Group’s department store, with her cynical tone of voice and sharp eyes.
Meanwhile, Park Sung Hoon adds tension to the story by playing investment expert Yoon Eun Sung who forms a close relationship with Queens Group.
Kwak Dong Yeon, who plays Hong Hae In’s younger brother Hong Soo Chul, and Lee Joo Bin, who plays Hong Soo Chul’s wife Cheon Da Hye, fill the room with laughter with their cute lovey-dovey moments.
