ZEROBASEONE's Agency Announces Legal Action Against Violation Of Members' Rights

WAKEONE Entertainment has released a statement regarding its legal response to the violation of ZEROBASEONE’s rights.

On February 3, WAKEONE announced that it had filed criminal charges against multiple individuals who had either trespassed on ZEROBASEONE’s dorm or attempted to contact the members after illegally obtaining their personal information.

The agency also stated that it would be using digital forensics to reveal the truth regarding recent fake edits and posts about the ZEROBASEONE members.

WAKEONE’s full statement is as follows:

Hello. This is WAKEONE.

Recently, fake edits about our artist have been spreading indiscriminately on online communities and social media.

As we have stated in multiple previous announcements, we are currently responding with a zero-tolerance policy to crimes that threaten our artist’s safety or infringe on our artist’s rights or privacy.

Through the law firm SHIN&KIM, we have filed a criminal complaint against the individual who came to our artist’s dorm on charges such as home invasion, and the case in question is currently being investigated.

Also, regarding the people who have illegally obtained our artist’s personal information and attempted to call them, we have filed criminal complaints against them, and investigations into some of the suspects have been completed.

As for the people who are creating and spreading fake edits and posts about our artist, even if it takes a little time, we will reveal the definitive truth through digital forensic analysis of images, video, and audio. Once again, we are letting you know that we will mobilize all resources at our disposal in order to protect our artist.

Additionally, in order to prevent this kind of incident from occurring in the future, we will take strong legal action, with no settlements or leniency, against those who spread falsehoods or write malicious comments [about our artist].

We promise to make every effort to prevent not only our artist, but also the fans who love them, from suffering any damages.
