(G)I-DLE's "2" Achieves 5th Highest 1st-Week Sales Of Any Girl Group Album In Hanteo History

(G)I-DLE is soaring to new heights with their latest comeback!

Last week, (G)I-DLE released their second full-length album “2,” along with its powerful title track “Super Lady.” Just two days later, “2” had already sold over 1 million copies, making it (G)I-DLE’s fastest album to reach the milestone.

Hanteo Chart has now reported that “2” went on to sell a total of 1,537,083 copies in the first week of its release (January 29 to February 4)—smashing (G)I-DLE’s previous first-week sales record of 1,163,395 (set by their 2023 mini album “I feel”).

“2” is now the girl group album with the fifth-highest first-week sales in Hanteo history, bested only by aespa’s “MY WORLD,” NewJeans’ “Get Up,” IVE’s “I’VE MINE,” and BLACKPINK’s “BORN PINK.”
