NewJeans has won the Group of the Year award at the 2024 Billboard Women in Music Awards!

On March 6 (local time), the 2024 Billboard Women in Music Awards took place in Los Angeles, and the awards ceremony was streamed online the following day.

In addition to performing “Super Shy” and “ETA” at this year’s ceremony, NewJeans became the first K-pop artist to receive the Group of the Year award at the ceremony. Furthermore, this is the first time a winner was awarded in this category in nine years since 2015 when Fifth Harmony received the award.

NewJeans will be attending the 2024 Billboard Women in Music Awards!

The Billboard Women in Music Awards is an annual event that “honors women powerhouses who are shaping the music landscape.”

On February 8 local time, Billboard officially announced that NewJeans would be performing at this year’s awards, joining a star-studded lineup of female singers that includes Karol G, Charli XCX, Ice Spice, Kylie Minogue, Victoria Monét, and more.

NewJeans will also receive the Group of the Year award at the upcoming ceremony, which will be held on March 6 local time in California.
