Jang Seung Jo Talks About Working With Co-Stars Kim Ha Neul And Yeon Woo Jin In "Nothing Uncovered"
KBS2’s upcoming drama “Nothing Uncovered” has dropped new stills of Jang Seung Jo!
Based on a popular web novel, “Nothing Uncovered” is a romance thriller drama about an investigative reporter Seo Jung Won (Kim Ha Neul) and an ace detective Kim Tae Heon (Yeon Woo Jin) who team up to solve a series of murders—and who happen to be ex-lovers.
Jang Seung Jo will play the role of Seo Jung Won’s husband Seol Woo Jae, a novelist and chaebol heir who seems to have everything but is secretly empty and lonely inside. To him, Seo Jung Won is the only thing that makes him happy in his life. One day, the two encounter a murder case which causes a crack in their stable marriage life.
Jang Seung Jo explained the reason for choosing the project by saying, “The script made me curious about where the tangled relationship would end up. In particular, Seol Woo Jae’s narrative, hidden story, and complex emotions gave me a desire to play this character.”
Jang Seung Jo explained, “Even though filming is underway, Seol Woo Jae is still a difficult character. It feels like wandering around in a labyrinth, looking for an invisible exit. I always contemplate about how to portray Seol Woo Jae’s narrative within the framework of the mystery genre.”
Jang Seung Jo also expressed his gratitude to his co-stars. He shared, “Every time I film, I often think about how great it is to be able to act with senior actress Kim Ha Neul. Viewers will also be able to feel why only Kim Ha Neul can portray Seo Jung Won through the broadcast.”
He continued, “With actor Yeon Woo Jin, we have diverse conversations and discuss how to approach the situations that our characters are each placed in. Viewers can look forward to the chemistry that was created through this process.”
“Nothing Uncovered” will premiere on March 18 at 10:10 p.m. KST. Stay tuned!
