Renowned Producer Shinsadong Tiger Passes Away; TRI.BE To Halt Activities
Producer Shinsadong Tiger has passed away at the age of 40.
On February 23, TR Entertainment confirmed the sad news of Shinsadong Tiger’s passing. The agency stated, “As this news came suddenly, we are currently confirming the specific details. Once we have sorted everything out, we will provide information regarding funeral arrangements and other details.”
Following the news, TRI.BE, the girl group he produced, announced the suspension of their activities. Their statement reads, “We regret to inform you that this week’s scheduled ‘Diamond’ comeback promotion has been canceled and postponed. Additional information regarding the schedules will be provided later. Details about fan events such as fan signing sessions will also be announced separately at a later time. We apologize to the fans and kindly ask for your understanding.”
Shinsadong Tiger is best known for producing hit songs such as T-ara’s “Roly-Poly,” Apink’s “NoNoNo” and “Remember,” EXID’s “Up & Down” and “DDD,” and Momoland’s “BBoom BBoom.”
