Uhm Hyun Kyung, Seo Jun Young, Kwon Hwa Woon, And Im Joo Eun Confirmed For New Drama

MBC’s new daily drama “The Brave Yong Su Jeong” has gathered a fearless group of actors—Uhm Hyun Kyung, Seo Jun Young, Kwon Hwa Woon, and Im Joo Eun!

The upcoming MBC weekday drama “The Brave Yong Su Jeong” (written by Choi Yeon Geol and directed by Lee Min Soo), which is set to premiere in April, tells the lively and exhilarating romantic revenge story of Yong Su Jeong (Uhm Hyun Kyung), an unyielding strong woman who dreams of becoming the next Im Sang Ok (a big trade merchant in the late Joseon Dynasty), and Yeo Eui Joo (Seo Jun Young), a hard-working and stingy person who entrusts his fate to her.

Uhm Hyun Kyung, Seo Jun Young, Kwon Hwa Woon, and Im Joo Eun, who have consistently shown strong presence in each of their projects, depict the tangled relationships of the four men and women in the drama. Kwon Hwa Woon takes on the role of Joo Woo Jin, Yong Su Jeong’s unrequited love and the successor of Ma Sung Group. Behind his seemingly flawless appearance lies a sad past inside his heart; however, given the multitude of people hoping for his downfall, he lives concealing his weakness behind a mask. Curiosity surrounds whether he can shed the mask and live his own life, adding depth to Kwon Hwa Woon’s portrayal of Joo Woo Jin.

On the other hand, Im Joo Eun intensifies the tension of the drama as Choi Hye Ra, the embodiment of desires driven by greed and ambition. With insatiable greed and determination to possess anything she desires, Choi Hye Ra ruthlessly seeks vengeance against those who oppose her. Im Joo Eun’s acting of Choi Hye Ra’s villainous actions, fueled by her strong acting skills, is set to trigger viewers’ outrage.
