INFINITE's Nam Woohyun Bravely Sets Out To Rescue His Mom In New Action Film
INFINITE’s Nam Woohyun’s upcoming action film “The Guardian” (working title) is gearing up for release!
On March 15, it was announced that “The Guardian” starring singer and actor Nam Woohyun completed filming in Manila, Philippines, and the post-production work is underway.
“The Guardian” tells the story of a young man who risks everything to rescue his mother, who has been kidnapped by a Filipino Korean organization. Nam Woo Hyun plays the role of Park Do Joon, who gives up his dream of becoming a national Taekwondo athlete and settles in the Philippines for his mother. Park Eun Hye plays the role of Kim Mi Jin, a successful Korean career woman in Manila who loses everything to gambling but shows a mother’s love in protecting her son. Han Jae Suk portrays villain Cha Dong Chul, the boss of the largest Korean organization in the Philippines. The film also stars Kim Ok Joo, Kim Ji Oh, and Filipino star Yassi Pressman.
The newly released still image captures Park Do Joon in his hoodie and cargo pants.
“The Guardian” is set to premiere in the second half of 2024. Stay tuned!
